Ask the Experts Selection

Deadline: February 28th, 2025

At the workshop, you will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one for 30-minute sessions with a minimum of three CDI faculty. Meetings are scheduled throughout the workshop, primarily during breakfast or lunch and before dinner. You determine the topics covered at these sessions which are designed for you to get the help YOU need, whether it is advice on a challenging mentoring relationship, help with a negotiation issue, guidance on lab management topics, feedback on a grant or manuscript in progress, or any other career challenge you are facing.

You will be able to view brief biographical sketches of the faculty who will be available to meet with you and select two to three faculty and staff with whom to meet. We will try our best to match you up with your selections; however, requests are one of several factors considered when setting up meetings.

If you'd like feedback on materials (e.g., specific aims for a grant proposal), you are welcome to bring them to the meeting. Please remember, though, that you'll only have 30 minutes to meet and might find that your time is spent more effectively if you prepare and discuss a list of questions.

Please mark your top 3 choices for CDI faculty with whom you'd like to meet for a 30-minute Ask the Expert session during the workshop. For all other choices, please leave blank.
