“Noah has been instrumental in my transition to faculty. He has donated time, energy, compassion, and guidance. We have been meeting once per month since CDI, and always catch up at conferences. I could go on and on about our supervision. First year of faculty feels like being an intern again, nothing quite prepares you for it until you get there. He has been uniquely insightful in helping me figure out how to stay scientifically active, hire and manage a team, and to process the simultaneous feelings of elation and existential worry that accompany year 1. I also can’t say enough about the importance of mentors that are outside of your institution and have no skin in the game. I hope the relationship we are building will be something I can take forward for my entire professional career.”
